9th Place - PS1 Game Jam

In this retro PlayStation inspired shooter, you are an outlaw in the wild west with one thing on your mind - getting that paper. Fight off waves of cowboys and sheriffs as you explore the town to rob the people of their wealth so you can make your gun shoot better. Can you survive?

!!! NOTE !!!
WebGL has caused a few small issues that aren't an issue in the Desktop build. Always play fullscreen on the web.

Due to WebGL limiations, I may release this fully on Steam if people like it enough.

Controls:

Movement: WASD
Look: Mouse
Fire: Left Click
Pistol Whip: Right Click
Interact: E
Pause: ESC or P (use P for playing in web browser, as esc is usually set to stop the game controlling your cursor state)

How To Play:
You will start off in a procedurally generated town. You're an Outlaw so naturally, everyones gunning for you. You have some bullets to start, but you'll need to find ammo to keep shooting. 

Drops:
Look out for special buildings, objects will spawn near them that contain drops.

Enemies:

Cowboys/Outlaws - Common enemies that will shoot back at you at a normal rate, and can only see you if you get in their line of sight.

Sheriffs - Less common, but can detect you much easier from further away and have a faster fire rate. You will notice them by their little sheriff star badge

Trader:
(Press E on trader)

Once you've killed all cowboys and sheriffs, a trader will appear in the center of the map for you to buy upgrades.  Upgrades randomly generate and will give you a +/- stat. 

e.g. +1 movement speed but -1 Punch Strength

You have 1 minute to get ready and you will go to the next town.

See how long you can last.

NOTE: Currently upgrades can be quite mixed, and not very good, and expensive. Next update will balance this out much more!

I created this game for a PS1 Jam and had a lot of fun with it. I had to do most of the work in about 3 days as i was involved in another game jam at the same time. So i didnt use the full 10 days. I went a bit all out in the short timeframe but made something I think is fun, humerous and nostalgic. I hope you have as much fun playing as I did making it!

• Adding other NPCs that roam around doing stuff. Obviously, you can shoot/rob them. With dialogue of them begging for you not to.
