This game explores the contrast between chaos and order, effort and ignorance, visibility and invisibility. The family is living on your silent labor, yet the moment you stop, everything falls apart. Will you keep cleaning or let the house become a total disaster?
Features:
- Dynamic mess system: NPCs create chaos in unpredictable ways.
- Diverse personalities: each family member adds their own unique trouble.
- Time-based pressure: clean efficiently before everything spirals out of control.
- Dark humor & sarcasm: because surviving a household requires both.
Many planned features weren't implemented due to the time constraints of a Game Jam. We wanted to add more rogue-like features like upgrading speed or slowling down NPCs.
Planned features:
- Upgrades - drink energy drink to speed up movement and task completing
- Day/Night cycle
- Neighbours arriving unannounced
- Collecting coins in the couch, beds, pillows, vases
- Breakable vases that need swept
- Buying upgrades from wardrobe/fridge
- Resetting pillows on bed, didn't have time
- Completeing tasks should involve solving a mini puzzle or shaking the mouse while holding interact
- Slow down effects to use on NPCs
Known Bugs and Fixes:
- NPCs sometimes just get stuck and don't move. They get confused.
- Interaction UI may pop up and seem to do nothing, it may just be that your current target was cleared, walk away from any broken UI and come back to it, it should work
- Once all tasks available are "messy" the NPCs can't seem to choose what to do next, so you have time to clean.
